What is a Care Card?
The Board of Visitors Care Card program has become Arizona's largest retail fundraising event! Shoppers can purchase a Care Card for $60 and receive a 20% discount and hundreds of local retailers and restaurants during a 10-day shopping period every October. 100% of the net proceeds raised through Care Card sales go to the selected beneficiary each year.
In 1999, four friends traveled to Dallas, TX to experience The Partner's Card, a local retail fundraiser. After shopping their hearts out over four days, they knew that the Board of Visitors needed to bring this event to Phoenix.
Established in 1908, The Board of Visitors is the oldest women's charitable organization in Arizona. Since its inception, The Board of Visitors has granted over $25 million to local nonprofit organizations in the greater Phoenix community, serving the healthcare needs of women, children, and the elderly.
