General Information

The Board of Visitors considers grant requests from 501(c)3s who serve the healthcare needs of women, children and the elderly in the greater Phoenix community. Requests for funding are limited to one request per organization each calendar year. When applying for a Category C grant (not available in 2024 or 2025), an organization may also apply for another category. The Board of Visitors will be revising the Care Card beneficiary program for 2025 and we look forward to sharing those plans as they become available. If an organization has received a previous grant from The Board of Visitors, a Final Grant Usage Report must be received by February 1st in order to be considered in the next grant cycle.

The Grant Process:

  • Begins each year with organizations submitting a Letter of Interest (LOI).
  • All LOIs are reviewed and selected organizations are asked for full proposals.
  • Submitted proposals are reviewed and site visits are scheduled with selected organizations.
  • Grants are awarded at The Board of Visitors Grants Award Celebration in February.

Funding Requests For Projects Will Be Considered For:

  • Seed money for specific projects
  • General operating support
  • Capital campaign to raise a specified sum of money within a defined time-period to bring needed healthcare services to the community
